These terms are the agreement between you and Quantum AI & Technologies Ltd, which operates NeliPay. By using NeliPay you accept them. They are short on purpose.
What NeliPay is
A wallet to keep money and send it to other people. NeliPay is not a bank and your balance is not covered by a deposit guarantee scheme.
The NeliPay Account
The NeliPay Account (the payment account with its own IBAN and cards) is not provided by NeliPay: it is provided by an authorised institution. In euros, Swan (SWAN SAS, Paris), an electronic money institution authorised in France by the ACPR under code 17328. In other currencies, Airwallex (Netherlands) B.V., an electronic money institution authorised by the Dutch central bank (DNB) under licence R179622. That institution holds your money, kept separate from its own as the law requires; NeliPay provides the app you use to manage the account and prepare your payments.
When you open it, you also accept that institution’s terms. Swan’s are sent to you by email when you open the account. Airwallex’s are its terms and policies and its user terms.
Your account
It is yours and personal, and you must be an adult to have one. You must give true information and keep your password safe. If you think someone has got into your account, tell us straight away.
Limits
Without verifying your identity there is a daily cap. Verifying raises it. These limits exist because of anti-money laundering rules, not on a whim.
What you cannot do
Use NeliPay for anything illegal, to launder money, to impersonate someone else or to try to break the system. If that happens, we close the account and report it to whoever it must be reported to.
Payments do not undo themselves
Sending money to someone is like handing them cash: there is no undo button. Check who you are sending to before confirming.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection given by the law of the country where you live.
