Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29/09/2026

This policy explains what data NeliPay keeps about you, what for, for how long and what you can do about it. It is written to be understood, not to cover our backs.

Who handles your data

Quantum AI & Technologies Ltd, which operates the NeliPay brand. Company registered in England and Wales under number 16564141. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. For anything related to your data: privacidad@nelipay.com.

What we keep and why

To have an account: your name, your email and your username. Without them there is no account.
To move money: every transaction is recorded with its date, amount and who it was with. The law requires it, and those records are never deleted.
To verify who you are: your full name, your date of birth and your ID document. The document number is stored encrypted. If you verify with photos, the images are used on the spot and are not stored.
For the app to work: your IP address and which browser you use, to spot unusual logins and block attacks.

Who we share it with

Only with those needed to make this work: the provider that verifies identities (the photos for instant verification are analysed by Google Gemini and are not stored), the one that processes top-ups from your bank, and the server where the app runs. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

If you open a NeliPay Account, your identity and contact details and your account details are shared with the institution that provides it, because the law requires it to verify who you are and to monitor transactions: Swan (its privacy policy) or, for other currencies, Airwallex (its privacy policy). Each of them also processes that data on its own account to meet its own legal obligations.

Some of these providers process data outside your country. When that happens, it is done with the safeguards required by the data protection law that applies to you.

How long

For as long as you have an account. When you close it, we delete what we can — but money transactions and verification data must be kept for several years by law (anti-money laundering). It is not our choice.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, restrict how we use it, take it elsewhere or object to its processing. Write to privacidad@nelipay.com. If you think we are not doing it right, you can complain to the ICO, the UK data protection authority (ico.org.uk), or to the one in your country.

Download your data whenever you want
